Hi all
A kindly reminder, particular to parents of our U14-U18 groups, to drop off and pick up in the parking lot - not by the club house. Please leave this space for emergency vehicles and coaches loading and unloading gear. If you drive in when it is crowded, you block in those already there, and will have to reverse out which is not a clear view and dangerous to our little one. Simply put. Please don't.
Minis
For our minis, we have a jamboree this weekend on Sunday October 25th at Meralomas
which is in Vancouver - details are entered in team snap.
For those of you who are new, the jamborees are a mini tournament where the teams play a series of 20 minute (ish) games against various clubs from around Metro Vancouver. Usually the hosting club provides a treat afterwards - another reason to be very clear with your attendance in team snap.
Wear your strips, cleats and a mouthguard. Don't worry if you were unable to get a jersey. You still get to play. Any families with loaners from last year, please do bring them so we can give them out to players who don't have one.
It is important that you indicate in team snap your attendance as we have large numbers and may be divided into two teams for each age group. Otherwise, we stand around waiting to play or end up playing our selves.
Parking bylaws around Connaught park (Meralomas) are strictly enforced even on a Sunday, so please be mindful of the signs. There are lots of coffee places close by to walk to, if you score a good spot early on.
Next weekend (October 2nd) is Squamish for another Minis Jamboree - details in Team Snap.
Youth
This Sunday, September 25th we all have games.
U14 boys - Sevens in Abbotsford - times TBD and will be posted in team snap. Please indicate your attendance.
U14 and U16 girls - Sevens in Abbotsford - Times TBD and will be posted in team snap. Please indicate your attendance.
U16 boys - 15's at bayside. 1:00pm kickoff - Indicate attendance in Team Snap
U18 boys - 15's at Bayside. 2:30 kickoff - Indicate attendance in Team Snap
U14 girls and u16 girls will be playing their age groups combined with Squamish and Meralomas for U14, and Meralomas for u16.
For the boys in Whiterock, you will be playing a regular 15's game against a single side - not the rotating quarters version we did last week.
Finally - Our Age grade schedule arrived an hour ago! I know, it does not have game times on it. Will include that information in Team Snap when I have it, but here is the link:

Kit/Uniform for Everyone
We are out of intermediate and adult size stripy socks. We still have minis ones.
Small size Jerseys are still 8 weeks out.
Shorts are limited in the small sizes.
There are number of senior games this Saturday - See the website for final times as some have been rescheduled. Note also, the bar may be closed (I am not sure if that is accurate or not).
The women's seconds play Saturday morning at Brocton which is a beautiful location, if you happen to be in Stanley park.
So, will see you all somewhere this weekend!
